    In light of the changes in the regulatory environment, not least new FSA regulation of payment institutions, the Association recommends that all companies should have a written compliance manual which summarises the key policies of the company.

Who we are

The UKMTA is a not-for-profit company, owned and run by its members. The Association was founded in May 2005.

There are now more than 170 Payment Institutions in full membership of the Association plus other non payment company members. The Association is managed by an elected executive team, made up of representatives from member companies.

The current Chairman of the Association is Dominic Thorncroft.
